Act 1     Dump and R Junior 20 Year Reunion, The Musical, is headed to Broadway!

After tryouts online, written by my pseudonym Glinda Okay!

The mood is upbeat because of temporary ceasefire

Of wood smoke from a nearby indoor residential wood fire

Expect Tap dancing or Soft Shoe during performative stories

During a world tour into conditions often unsavory

A cast and crew of a Director who doubles as romantic interest

A Green Color Changing statistician who we call Purple Eric

And a Representative of every region we decide to visit

If we skip any region we will, offstage, get back to it

Why Dump and R Junior 20 Year Reunion you may ask? The answer is vocal

Dump and R Junior had a 20 Year Reunion focused

On Regions of the Dump imagined Regions of a new Reconstruction

Of his Nation after a Second Civil War arising from his imagination

The writer of this musical, Glinda Okay, focused on Clean Energy

While she transcribed the Dump and R Junior Conversation Energy

With “imaginative” ideas contributed by Dump and the Synergy

Of replies by R Junior spotlighting R Junior Trademark halting delivery

Both believe in a confused and confusing way that 20 years have passed

Although a few weeks in solitary contemplation have amassed

More confusion in their already weak minds after a few weeks

Without easy access to the outside world and with no leaks

Of information about what really happened after the second Civil War

The Reconstruction Changes were more positive and helpful than before

The Nation has rebounded under new rules of engagement

Now instead of states, sixteen regions now represent

The entire nation divided by equal population arrangements

And ten topics that representatives are asked to address are important

And define the needs of the average voter which need solutions

Serious consequences if Region representatives of our Nation do not take positive action

To ensure that our prosperous nation devotes its economic resources

1 To fight climate change    2 Ensure air pollution regulation     3 Ensure Health Care Access

4 Ensure Clean energy      5 Ensure affordability of utility payments for Clean Energy

6 Ensure Affordable Medical Access    7 Require more high level training in Science and Medicine from Grade School upward      8 Require more entrances to Medical School so more Doctors are available for our Nation     9 Require Government funding of Vaccine Development to ensure the best possible Public Health       10 Require Government funding of Cancer Fight Development to ensure the best possible Public Health

The Sixteen New Nation Voting Regions with roughly equal populations which have been created under Reconstruction are

Region 1   Probably a Democratic Vote   California 1 of 2  (1 vote is first half of one state) Population 19 point 95 million    California 1 first half of 39 point 9 million

Region 2    Probably a Democratic Vote   California 2 of 2  (1 vote is second half of one state) Population 19 point 95 million      California 2 is second half of 39 point 9 million

Region 3 (1 vote is 9 states)  population 21 point 3 million  Idaho: 1 point 9 million

Region 6   (1 vote is 3 states is one third of a state and 2 other states)   Population    20 point 13 million   ` Texas one third of  the Texas 31 million which is 10 point 3 million plus Arizona 7 point 7 million and New Mexico 2 point 1 million

Region 7   Probably a Republican Vote   (1 vote is 1 state) Population 22 point 5 million      Florida 22 point 5 million

Region 8 (1 vote is 3 states) population 20 million       Tennessee: 7 million  Indiana: 6 point 8 million  Missouri: 6 point 2 million

Region 16   Probably a Democratic Vote   (1 vote is 1 state) Population 20 point 4 million     New York 20 point 4 million

8 of the 16 Nation Regions will probably vote Democratic and 3 of the 16 Nation Regions will probably vote Republican      5 of the Nation Regions are toss ups on whether they will probably vote either way

The Electoral College has also been eliminated from deciding Presidential Elections.

In this musical written by a near neighbor of an indoor residential wood burner

We periodically remind the audience of the reason for this endeavor

Climate change and air pollution regulation should include positive

Efforts to control PM 2 point 5 from indoor residential wood stoves

Madison in a project in twenty-twenty five to install PM 2 point 5

Monitors but only in public schools and the like!

Far from hyperlocalized residential locations!

Indoor residential wood burners create pollution

Wood smoke PM 2 point 5 enters yards of near neighbors

And sickens even PM 2 point 5 monitoring near neighbors

The health effects on neighbors are gravely existential

Because there is no Madison ordinance against indoor residential

Wood burning. And no provision to look at the data for

Low Cost Resident Owned PM 2 point 5 Purple Air monitors

In order to shut down each wood burning appliance.

One appliance at a time if necessary. Only silence.

I, Glinda Okay, think breathing pollution is not sustainable

I wrote Dump and R Junior 20 Year Reunion The Musical because I am able

The 16 Nation regions imagined are compliant to my leap to the stage

Besides negative health effects wood burning hastens climate change

Dreaming the possible dream and tackling climate change

Some parts of the world are mired in controversy

Over changing for the better or changing at all

Wood burning has traditionalists in its thrall

Driven by advertising that is insidious

And strikes to the heart of the aesthetic rich

Intermission about The United Nations F C-C-C Reporting Guidelines

Here follows an easy to follow PM 2 point 5  related to polluting wood burning outline

Biomass burning CO2 is generally not counted in the national energy sector emissions

of many countries under UNF-C-C-C reporting guidelines. Instead, these emissions

are accounted for in the Land Use, Land-Use Change, and Forestry L U L U C F sector

where the biomass is harvested. This allows many nations to treat bioenergy as zero-carbon

and most countries therefore feel free to ignore counting PM 2 point 5 at the point of combustion.

Because emissions from burning biomass are often reported in the land sector

based on the assumption that carbon is re-absorbed by new growth rather

than the energy sector, it creates a “biomass delusion” where countries may

increase emissions without it appearing in their energy sector today.

Many scientists argue this is a major loophole, noting that burning forest biomass

is often dirtier than coal and that it takes decades for new trees to recapture on mass,

the carbon released. Double Counting Concerns: To avoid double-counting,

CO2 emissions are not included in energy, but this often leads to “missing”

emissions when biomass is traded internationally. increases in biomass burning

for energy have occurred in countries like the UK, the European Union, and Japan,

largely driven by these accounting rules and subsequent wood burning plans.

Intermission written by Glinda Okay

I wrote this Musical, so listen today!

While you are filling up on popcorn and soda,

Lend me your ear to a poem I perform in the lobby

“I think that I shall never see a poem as lovely as a tree

When encountering nearby PM 2 point 5 from burning a nearby tree

The living tree closes its pores against the wood smoke just like me!

A human being holds his or her breath against nearby wood burning

Smoke in the form of PM 2 point 5 so the tree quits carbon absorbing

In the form of CO2 and so does not sequester carbon through photosynthesis alive!

Or absorbs at a much lower level.  And trees never sequester PM 2 point 5!

This means a tree in those circumstances does not absorb CO2 nor PM 2 point 5!

Indoor residential wood burning emits four hundred fifty times the PM 2 point 5 as natural gas burning!

Indoor residential wood burning emits 2 point 8 times the PM 2 point 5 as coal burning!

Act Two

Dump and R Junior Discussing the Reconstructed Nation at what they think is their 20 year reunion.

Dump says       Gossip is the very rough first version of what ends up in the history books.  I feel like dropping names. If you want a worse world, act like you live in it.      My world view is deeply heartfelt and moving to me.  It used to be moving to my followers    Lo those 20 years ago! The reason my dystopian views are so authentic is that  I understand how to complain the best.  My complaints are world class and entirely a figment of my imagination. That understanding is indeed profound. My knowledge is such that I continually speak

R Junior says    I can barely speak and I communicate mostly by pointing to letters, one by one, on a laminated board. This is also how my last appearances before Congressional Panels came to be. In heartbreaking performative style my Aides sat beside me, holding the letter board and reading my tapped-out messages. “I never thought there could be a life like this,” I spelled. I the illustrious scion of an illustrious family described the different, sadder sort of life that could have been. “I had no way of letting people know who I was. My intelligence was like the rock pushed up the hill by Sisyphus. I could never get it to the top.” I could not adequately describe the paradox of modern medicine  where I saw that not enough attention was paid to nutrition by Medical Doctors without Nutritionist Degrees    MDs only had Medical Degrees which I hold in contempt.   Medical Doctors wanted to distribute vaccines to save lives and I of course bent all my considerable energies to blocking vaccine distribution   I had no medical reason for blocking vaccines but I had to get the idea across that vaccines are bad   I have these feelings and I also receive payoffs from lawyers who sue vaccine companies without cause.   My gossip about colleagues, friends, and enemies adds up to a generational portrait, a feast for cultural historians to come.  My major limitation is a common one. This is only “a voice and only one person’s account, colored by score-settling, self-justifications, and blind spots. Yet sometimes these qualities can be exactly what make me compelling. I was an unreliable but charismatic narrator. You hang on every word in part because you do not always believe them. But journalist or critics consulted other sources. Reality as we know it is made up of subjective experiences, none of which would feel complete on its own. One critic wrote “I myself am not quite sure what the meaning of the R Junior is, beyond getting certain things on the historical record.” Sometimes, that’s enough especially if you cannot stop reading it.
