A Burning Man documentary laughably calls it a Spiritual Experience
Nothing can be more down to earth than a PM Two point Five experience
Deliberately caused by Burning a Man in effigy and other fires set for no reason
Operating beyond reason is the reason why Burning Man exists or may only
Exist at the behest of Trillionaire Elon Musk in Two Thousand Seven or farther
In the future. A few men admittedly seeking release burnt a wood man in effigy
In Nineteen Eighty Six. When they set the man ablaze police officers and passersby
looked on in disbelief. If only history could have made a turn for the better
by arrests of the men at the time. It might have saved us mighty amounts of air pollution
over the next Forty Years! But this breathless documentary focuses predictably
on amazement with the work and artistry of setting wood burning fires!
The intelligence quotient of this documentary does not reach the level
of moron or imbecile in its entire series of minutes of filmic waste.
The waste of the environment by destruction of the desert face
And of course the creation of air pollution on a large scale for a week a year.
Sprawling, catharsis, woo-woo hipsterism, Bohemians and billionaires,
Are all connected in one documentary review predictably with spiritual connection.
A reviewer could equally claim spiritual connection
For the “White House Boxing Exhibition.”
It featured notable boxers and was held for charity.
The exhibition aimed to promote fitness and sportsmanship.
It included both professional and amateur fighters.
The event attracted significant media attention and public interest.
A Burning Man documentary breathlessly calls it anything goes!
The original men eventually found they needed to operate remotely
To enable them to pollute the air without overly awing the police!
“Aw, Shucks” these men only want to burn for no reason
In order to deal with unemployment. They could do worse and do!
They operated under the radar in the desert until the desert
Deteriorated and even remote in the desert they were noticed.
This documentary notices them some more and what it sees as
Good are air pollution and tearing up the desert floor to entertain
Billionaires. “It’s such an immersive experience that it seems
that it would be impossible to capture on film or convey what
it feels like to be inside a city that exists for a week, that’s imagined,
built and sustained entirely by the people inside,” says a woman,
co-director a new docuseries on the festival. She did not set
out to chronicle Burning Man’s steampunk world. Her curiosity
was piqued while trying to clear footage she had shot at the festival
for a documentary on the Cambridge Analytica data scandal,
which used a scene featuring one of the whistleblowers
at a makeshift temple on site. A Temple to burning equals spiritualism.
Laughably, decommodification, radical inclusion and civic responsibility
are repeatedly invoked as among the guiding principles of Burning Man.
