Comparison of June To July Two Thousand Twenty Six PM 2 point 5 data from resident owned PurpleAir monitors in Wisconsin

Dane County Area of Wisconsin Two point Five levels above Thirty Four micrograms per cubic meter occurred in Ninety Six percent of PurpleAir monitors, with an average of Four Hundred Seven micrograms PM Two Point Five per cubic meter for the month of July.   Calculation using the Wisconsin Environmental Protection Agency smoothing of data showed Two point Five levels above Thirty Four micrograms per cubic meter occurred in Seventy Seven percent of PurpleAir monitors, with an average across all monitors of Two Hundred Eleven micrograms PM Two Point Five per cubic meter for the month of July.   Six  is the number of PurpleAir monitors newly installed in the Dane County area in July probably in response to late June as well as July incursions of wildfire smoke into Wisconsin. 

Milwaukee and Beloit Areas of Wisconsin  Two point Five levels above Thirty Four micrograms per cubic meter occurred in Ninety Eight percent of PurpleAir monitors, with an average across all monitors of One Hundred Forty Four for the month of July.  Calculation using the Wisconsin Environmental Protection Agency smoothing of data showed Two point Five levels above 34 micrograms per cubic meter occurred in Ninety Eight percent of PurpleAir monitors, with an average of Seventy Six micrograms PM Two Point Five per cubic meter across all monitors for the month of July.   Four is the number of PurpleAir monitors newly installed in the Milwaukee and Beloit areas in July probably in response to late June as well as July incursions of wildfire smoke into Wisconsin

Northern Wisconsin Areas   Two point Five levels above Thirty Four micrograms per cubic meter occurred in One Hundred percent of PurpleAir monitors, with an average across all monitors of Four hundred Thirty Nine micrograms PM Two Point Five per cubic meter for the month of July. Calculation using the Wisconsin Environmental Protection Agency smoothing of data showed Two point Five levels above Thirty Four micrograms per cubic meter occurred in Ninety Seven percent of PurpleAir monitors with an average across all monitors of Two Hundred Twenty Eight micrograms PM Two Point Five per cubic meter for the month of July.   Twenty Two is the number of PurpleAir monitors newly installed in the Northern Wisconsin area in July probably in response to late June as well as July incursions of wildfire smoke into Wisconsin.

There are also some people in Wisconsin who continue to burn wood indoors and out in spite of wildfire air pollution PM Two point Five from wildfire wood burning.   Wisconsin, unlike some Western U S States does not have Clean Air Days where residents are urged not to further contribute to air pollution by making the personal choice to burn wood. If residents also made the choice to burn wood in July Two Thousand Twenty Six their wood burning air pollution contributed to the high PM Two point Five numbers. The reasons for buying and installing PurpleAir PM Two point Five monitors at a record rate in July Two Thousand Twenty Six may mean that people are concerned about the health effects of PM Two Point Five from wood burning and hopefully it may mean that more people would like to use PM Two Point Five Monitors to collect evidence of the source of air polluting PM Two point Five hyper locally on days when wildfire smoke is not an incursion.   The more PurpleAir PM Two point Five monitors used for the purpose of collecting evidence of neighborhood PM Two Point Five Air pollution from indoor residential wood burning the better.  In that way each air polluting Indoor Residential Wood burner could be shut down, one wood burning appliance at a time if necessary, if laws are passed allowing PurpleAir PM Two Point Five monitor data as evidence. Just do not burn wood to begin with. The incremental contribution of each wood burning stove to PM Two Point Five Air pollution hastens climate change and leads in a feedback loop to more air polluting wildfires.
